I wish I could fix it,
I wish I could ease your pain,
But I know I cannot,
I know its only in vain.

I wish you couldnt feel it,
I mean the pain,
I want to take it away,
I want to be your novacaine.

But I can't however,
And that kills me inside,
I don't like to see you hurt,
That fact I cannot hide.

I wish you would laugh,
Because I hate to see you cry,
If another tear hits the floor,
I think I may die.
