My Fault.
He sat there, in that
White wicker chair,
Facing me.
His eyes like the sun
Peering into the darkness
In my heart
Lighting me up like we'd
Never been apart,
Never been apart.
As he lit up my heart.
But all he was doing
And all he had done
Was sit in a chair
Yet, his eyes were the sun.
We played truth or dare,
Naughty, just the way
He likes it. He didn't even
Realize that I
Loved every part of him.
He didn't know my pain.
He only knew
That I drove him away
I drove him away.
It's my fault that he didn't stay
It's my fault,
My fault
That he walked away.
White wicker chair,
Facing me.
His eyes like the sun
Peering into the darkness
In my heart
Lighting me up like we'd
Never been apart,
Never been apart.
As he lit up my heart.
But all he was doing
And all he had done
Was sit in a chair
Yet, his eyes were the sun.
We played truth or dare,
Naughty, just the way
He likes it. He didn't even
Realize that I
Loved every part of him.
He didn't know my pain.
He only knew
That I drove him away
I drove him away.
It's my fault that he didn't stay
It's my fault,
My fault
That he walked away.
