Serene Whispers
Nature’s serene whispers,
like a tender balm to my shriveled self,
when I wander all alone.
The wind brushes my hair back,
tapping my shoulder, drawing my eyes
to the plants and trees dancing
to the chirping birds’ harmonious tunes,
singing of the sky watching over me.
She tells me to follow the twinkling stars,
hand in hand with the sun and moon
shining upon my path to the waves,
there, I sit on the sand and speak for hours
to the sea and the universe,
wrapped in the scenery’s comfort.
like a tender balm to my shriveled self,
when I wander all alone.
The wind brushes my hair back,
tapping my shoulder, drawing my eyes
to the plants and trees dancing
to the chirping birds’ harmonious tunes,
singing of the sky watching over me.
She tells me to follow the twinkling stars,
hand in hand with the sun and moon
shining upon my path to the waves,
there, I sit on the sand and speak for hours
to the sea and the universe,
wrapped in the scenery’s comfort.
