Cimmerian Covenant
Beneath yon vault where moonlight wanes
And shadows carve their ancient reigns
There gather forms of nameless might
In halls of stone, bereft of light
Pillars rise like spectres tall
Adorned with masks that gaze o’er all
Their lips in silence, secrets keep
Where mortal tongues dare not to speak
Each autarch veiled in sable guise
With marbled flesh and sightless eyes
Doth weave a pact in whispered breath
A vow to bind both life and death
No trumpet sounds, no mortal sees
This covenant in stygian seas
Where timeless hands, like chiseled art
Do twist the threads of the human heart
Through arches crowned with griffon’s stare
They sculpt despair from mortal care
Each scroll they write, each star they blot
Is wrought for worlds that time forgot
Lo, wretched man, thou wilt not know
What darkly governs fate’s ebb flow
For in the halls where echoes wend
The autarchs rule, and there all ends
And shadows carve their ancient reigns
There gather forms of nameless might
In halls of stone, bereft of light
Pillars rise like spectres tall
Adorned with masks that gaze o’er all
Their lips in silence, secrets keep
Where mortal tongues dare not to speak
Each autarch veiled in sable guise
With marbled flesh and sightless eyes
Doth weave a pact in whispered breath
A vow to bind both life and death
No trumpet sounds, no mortal sees
This covenant in stygian seas
Where timeless hands, like chiseled art
Do twist the threads of the human heart
Through arches crowned with griffon’s stare
They sculpt despair from mortal care
Each scroll they write, each star they blot
Is wrought for worlds that time forgot
Lo, wretched man, thou wilt not know
What darkly governs fate’s ebb flow
For in the halls where echoes wend
The autarchs rule, and there all ends
