Left to Die
Aberration of the dark world
Limbs lost; the pearly white skeleton shows.
Flesh rots, disease spreads, sepsis grows.
Putrid life begins to wither away.
Flies abound; ripped victims lie in pain.
Agony of those who starve, and no one else.
Perpetual suffering until the end—
excruciating misery is all they felt.
While decaying stench rises,
the body and soul crumble.
Gore in sight makes the feeble tremble—
bodies hacked to death; Life exists no longer.
Bloodied scourge engulfs the air;
mutilation and pestilence, visual of sadistic terror.
Maggots infest the remains—time drags on, crawling slow
The macabre that dwells here, nobody knows.
