The second coming

If only we grasped how the real world works
with its sneak body-mincing wheels in wheels,
and detect the operator's wicked smirk,

To expose foul thieves and strings they have jerked
the deaths they have caused with their killer deals,
If only we grasped how the real world works...

Then we'd see sick invasions have vast perks
for crooked hands-across-the water schemes,
and, detect the string-puller's wicked smirk,

Their shrugs, death of children a business quirk,
as they persue their beastly cash dreams
If only, we grasped how the real world works,

To see beyond the blood mist induced murk
of blasted children, their deafening screams,
to detect the string pullers wicked smirk,

The rebuilding cash cost, a nagging irk,
But this is from where their vile thieved gold gleams,
If only we grasped how the real world works
And detect the string pullers wicked smirks...
