Sigil (Rune)

   
I will not see you for a while    
and I will not see your smile.    
I will not hear your laugh,    
and I will not feel your grasp.    
   
We will be apart for what seems to be a long time,    
but I will still dream that you are mine.    
As endless as these words may seem    
and as frightful as my past may be,    
you are the only one who I will ever see.    
   
The only one who prevents me from being    
sucked into the black hole.    
The only one who I allow to look deep into my soul.    
You are the only one who I trust;    
the rune of bondage that is inked on my chest.    
   
The phoenix that breathes ice    
the angel that breathes fire.    
The savior that protects my life,    
that saves me from whoever will conspire.
