Shadow Pierced Chaos
From depths where order breaks
And chaos first was born
A shadow wakes and shakes
In darkness, swift and sworn
It pierces through the night
With tendrils long and cold
Unseen by mortal sight
Yet ancient as the old
No star can quell its march
No flame can burn it back
It strides beneath the arch
Where time itself does crack
The undying shadow grows
In silence, yet profound
Its strength no limit knows
Nor chain to hold it bound
It pierces through the veil
Where chaos spins its thread
Through realms of birth and bale
Where gods and stars have bled
No light can halt its reign
No force can dim its might
For where it casts its stain
All yields before the night
It swallows void and flame
The cosmos in its clutch
The laws that once held claim
Dissolve beneath its touch
The whirl of chaos turns
But cannot shake its grasp
And where the cosmos burns
It smothers with one gasp
It wraps the stars in dark
Consumes their fiery breath
And leaves no shining mark
But cold, unyielding death
The undying shadow spreads
Through every crack and seam
The light of heaven dreads
Its ever-growing stream
No force can end its course
No dawn can tear it down
For in its silent source
The void becomes its crown
Enveloping all things
It binds the worlds with night
And on its formless wings
Flies ruin and delight
Chaos bends and sways
Enfolded in its grasp
The shadow takes the day
And nothing dares to clasp
And chaos first was born
A shadow wakes and shakes
In darkness, swift and sworn
It pierces through the night
With tendrils long and cold
Unseen by mortal sight
Yet ancient as the old
No star can quell its march
No flame can burn it back
