Today the sun is shining
And a voice whispers to me
Be free
Don't be a slave to desire
Or the fire
Of your thoughts and feelings
Take all within
And just take it in
Like a beautiful scene
Decide what it means to you
And then decide what to do
You can decide anew
In every moment
Within the possibilities of your means
A golden freedom gleams
You have the power
This is the hour
To listen to the voice within
There is no sin
But to be a slave
As long as you don't hurt another
Do not even try to bother
With that they will say
Only you know the way
It is daunting to see
It takes courage to be
Who you long for in your heart
In each moment lies a brand new start
Until you die, the possibility
To be free
