ADMIRING THE BULGE

IT
was my first day
back in the gym after
missing a few weeks
because of my traveling.
AS
always, the "old faces"
were there and numerous
"new faces" were present.
AS
I finished a rep on the
Lat Machine I heard a voice
behind me say, "That's
a lot of weight," turning
around I saw a smiling face
I'd never seen before.
BEFORE
I could speak the stranger
said, "Sorry to interrupt. I was
admiring your exercise form,
and those satin spandex briefs.
and dare I say the bulge in the
middle."
NEEDLESS
to say, I was setback
by the bold but kind remark.
Smiling and walking away,
I heard, "Have a great workout,
love those blue spandex."
WALKING
over to a walled mirror
I gazed at my spandex and
I guess for the first time
in a long time gazed at the
BULGE...Wow! It was amazing,
I thought , as I started doing
my squats admiring my bulge,
resisting the urge to rub my
swollen satin spandex.
IS
it okay for me to wear my
satin spandex when we
meet at the Kissing Place?
