Drops in my mind
Fall away all the time

Searing memories I can’t define

Conscientiousness knowing

Have to defend

Frazzled strips of my mind
Put together like a puzzle

These drops in my mind
Fade away with time

Lightning strikes
On the horizon

But not in my temple
All the time

Embers burning things
I can’t define
Pieces of my
Lost history
I’ve left behind

Sparks of light yearning
