Awesome twist of fate
Awesome twist of fate
Sitting at a table alone after being stood up by a date, wondering why I just don't go home until I had a awesome twist of fate
I sat watching a bunch of woman laughing and chatting then they let out a raucous cheer, I glanced up and it was obvious another lady had got here
She wasn't like the others she filled the room with light, her voice boomed across the bar as she held her court in the bar this night
The others buzzed around her it was truly plain to see, the new addition was the leader she truly was the hives Queen bee
Men hovered around her she held them spellbound within in a single glance, she let them buy the girls drinks all night but none of them stood a chance
I finished my pint of larger as I stood up just about to leave, I felt someone standing close by it was the woman pulling at my sleeve
She asked if she could buy me a drink, I said that I was just about to go, I agreed to stay for one last round, she said she hoped I drank it slow
One drink turned into another after the pub closed we went to her house and talked until it got real late, if I hadn't been stood up I'd never met her it turned out to be a awesome twist of fate
