Digital Embrace and Love Across Screens
In the last three years, with you by my side,
I never imagined we’d converse through screens so wide.
Morning, night, and after, holding you was my dream,
Now it remains a vision, a distant gleam.
This is the consequence of my weakness,
Of being faint-hearted, of choosing to flee.
Now I stare at you, a hundred times smaller,
On this little device, not what it used to be.
Yet seeing you still gives me butterflies,
My heart skips beats, like a bird that flies.
Though we’re apart, and dreams seem far,
Your presence on this screen is my guiding star.
Our love was a garden, blooming with grace,
Now it’s a memory, in a digital space.
The warmth of your touch, like the sun’s gentle rays,
Now feels like a whisper, in the cold of these days.
But even in pixels, your smile shines bright,
A lighthouse in darkness, a beacon of light.
Though we’re apart, and the distance is vast,
The love in my heart remains steadfast.
I remember our walks by the bay, hand in hand,
The sound of your laughter, like waves on the sand.
Yet even through screens, your love reaches me,
A digital embrace, setting my heart free.
Now, as I type these words, my heart aches,
For I yearn touch of your hand, the warmth it makes.
The way you’d light up at the sight of a flower,
Those moments we shared, our love’s finest hour.
