Heart Beats
Foot step beats with my racing pulse
as we walk side by side down the street,
I'm not sure why I can't suddenly talk
but my face is red and mouth is so dry.
I let my hand fall open at my waist
and almost instantly you take it in yours!

Racing heart beat is pounding from my chest.
It's beating so fast I'm having trouble breathing!

-- DOKI!
Even though I know it's foolish of me to say
how much I love you already after just a few days.
You sit me down on a bench in a park and go to
fetch something for us to drink, but my heart beat
is racing so fast, I have no idea how I can just
sit still! Racing to the BPM of 128 beats per minute,
but my pulse is racing so fast it leaves me breathless
and the words are drowned out!
Oh my dearest person, I couldn't imagine anyone else
being able to make this heart beat race so rapidly.

Please don't ever let this pulse slow back down
because you bring such joy to my breathless days!

together back toward my home, hand in hand and shy glances,
then suddenly you're leaning down and in the sunset we

Heart beats racing like the feet of a runner, you're gripping
my hand so tight, please don't ever let go now that we're in tune!
