STAY WITH US
Lone pariah of the heart in knots
Into darkness, slipping
Faced with dismissal, dismal thoughts
For acceptance, gripping
Beyond the shadows in your soul
There is so much more to extol
Crumble apart, there is no rush
I'll be there to pick the pieces up
So you've held out through the storm for answers
And you're tired of all of life's meanders
Then would you reach out before you bleed out?
Don't you face the world with pained expression
Don't you lose your goal on first impression
Or would you bleed out before you find out?
This sickness, you never bear alone
All the world, ups and downs
You can be the pillar that I've known
But structures require ground
And through the aching in your bones
Your strength to persevere alone
But I have you and you have me
And soon enough, I know you'll see
So you've weathered much throughout cruel waters
And you're close to letting go of others
Would you please reach out before you bleed out?
Don't you know our worlds won't go on spinning?
Don't you know that all worlds are worth living?
So you can fall down, I'll help you climb out
