Sunday Morning
The world's gonna die
I had the code to stop it but it was locked inside
Sitting on a bench letting tears flow
Unable to speak unless asked
Mute and desperate
Tears flowing and stuck to my seat
I watch the joggers and families smile and walk past
If only just asked
The sirens have started
People look around and begin to frown
Shout and hit the ground
The last tear has hit the ground
Sky's start to darken
Hearing an ear shattering sound
I sit up stright and sigh
Relax and accept
There was no humanity left to die
I had the code to stop it but it was locked inside
Sitting on a bench letting tears flow
Unable to speak unless asked
Mute and desperate
Tears flowing and stuck to my seat
I watch the joggers and families smile and walk past
If only just asked
The sirens have started
People look around and begin to frown
Shout and hit the ground
The last tear has hit the ground
Sky's start to darken
Hearing an ear shattering sound
I sit up stright and sigh
Relax and accept
There was no humanity left to die
