A very magical place

If you don't understand how something works
It might as well be magic to you

So look around you and think about
How many things you use and rely on
And you don't understand how they work

Do this regularly
And the world will all of a sudden be

A very magical place

Author's Note
I understand something about programming because that's my job. But do I understand how my washing machine works? My coffee maker? No and no. I don't really understand how the subway works. I don't really understand how a grocery store is run. For all I know someone just waves a magic wand and makes these things work. Of course that's not how it is, but if you think about how much we rely on things we don't understand, isn't it a bit like we trust in modern magic?
