Tonight
Lost it a long time ago
Put a rock where my heart should be
And yet, the rock was warmer than me
Tonight as we dance...
I know this is my final chance
This twirling is making my mind dance
Feet sweep swiftly across the dance floor
The lights reflected in your eyes, look like stars
The smell of sweet summer air and lilacs makes me feel at home again
I grip your hand for fear
Fear of death
Fear of life
Fear of the devil's knife
My tongue stays still
I cannot speak
For tonight, we dance until we die
Put a rock where my heart should be
And yet, the rock was warmer than me
Tonight as we dance...
I know this is my final chance
This twirling is making my mind dance
Feet sweep swiftly across the dance floor
The lights reflected in your eyes, look like stars
The smell of sweet summer air and lilacs makes me feel at home again
I grip your hand for fear
Fear of death
Fear of life
Fear of the devil's knife
My tongue stays still
I cannot speak
For tonight, we dance until we die
