Gothic Eyes

Something hypnotic behind your cat eyes.
Intoxication comes with the drinking in of your dark stare.
A brown rum, your eyelids.
Pupils as deep as the apparent.
Somehow though, each blink, a penned note.

Acheronian lipstick, sitting mostly still.
Dual rings, adorn either side of your paint.
The only glimmer, the occasional, bouncing off of the tongue;
And still, hardly a sound passes.

Your face is largely against the sun;
With skin as pallid as dusk.
And somehow twice as stunning.
Her entire presence is night;
With her rare smile, the brightest blue moon.
