Overwhelming gratitude
Gratitude to overwhelm.
So full as though to burst.
Swallow tears with every breath.
Silences any words.
How can I express?
When I can't stabilize.
With this in my chest.
Proves to paralyze.
There seems nothing I can do.
But a heartfelt ‘Thank You’.
Expressions of gratitude.
Sometimes just elude.

This happens to me so often. This overwhelming joy or gratitude that literally leaves me paralyzed with happiness. It's so embarrassing and odd.
