Stroke of Midnight
I dreamt I was living a fairytale
Trapped in the dungeons of my own mind
Bound by the chains of my past
Waiting for my Prince Charming
To rescue me
But when I see that white stallion with my Prince approaching my tower
The dragon emerges and breathes
His fiery breath
Is he too much for my Prince to battle?
Or will my Prince emerge from the flames in time to rescue his Princess?
For the chains that hold me tighten each time the clock strikes midnight
Trapped in the dungeons of my own mind
Bound by the chains of my past
Waiting for my Prince Charming
To rescue me
But when I see that white stallion with my Prince approaching my tower
The dragon emerges and breathes
His fiery breath
Is he too much for my Prince to battle?
Or will my Prince emerge from the flames in time to rescue his Princess?
For the chains that hold me tighten each time the clock strikes midnight
