Daddy Issues

In the confines of the office, shadows whispered low,
"She carries daddy issues," the rumour began to grow.
A truth unearthed beneath the fluorescent light,
An unspoken secret, hidden from sight.

At twenty-six, she twirled with wisdom gathered,
Drawn to older souls, her heart softly battered.
A decade lost to a father who strayed,
Leaving a girl in a world of charades.

He, twice her age, trapped in a tempest's woe,
Caught in enchantment beneath the office glow.
Her beauty, a beacon, like stars painted bright,
Deep brown eyes shimmering, lips soft in the night.

Her peroxide tresses framed her exquisite face,
A figure that radiated an alluring grace.
A slight crooked tooth, her sole imperfection,
To him, it was charm, a sweet little reflection.

Intellect radiant, with humor profound,
She sang of the past where laughter resounds.
As seasons shifted, their camaraderie grew,
Bound in playful banter and shared points of view.

"I cherish our moments," she confessed with a sigh,
"You make me feel safe; you lift me up high."
An embrace caught him off guard, towering and grand,
Within her petite arms, he felt fate's hand.

"You're one of my own," he whispered with pride,
"With you, in this world, I’ll always abide."
In laughter they danced, with hearts intertwined,
Yet behind closed doors, their desires aligned.

Then one sultry evening, as they batted around,
She quipped playfully, "Yes, Daddy," her voice profound.
He stuttered, then faltered, yet found his resolve,
In her sweet laughter, all barriers dissolved.

One errands-laden Saturday, he wandered the aisle,
In a world full of wonders, he spied her sweet smile.
No makeup adorned her; just casual flair,
In a loose t-shirt and shorts, so carefree and fair.

She searched for some treasures, an air of dismay,
While his heart raced and fluttered at the game they would play.
With visions entangled, thoughts soaring in flight,
As she spun and twirled, she became pure delight.

A trivial mission, yet focus began to blur,
Each giggle and glance made his confidence stir.
In a fleeting connection, their fates intertwined,
His hand on her back, a desire defined.

Her reaction—pure shock—yet her gaze lingered near,
His pulse quickened wildly, his feelings unclear.
"Are you okay?" he murmured as tension ran deep,
"Oh, are you?" she teased, the thrill making her leap.

With every tender touch, he felt his guard go,
A hushed confession emerged, a tantalising flow.
"Are we done toying?" he asked, a glint in his eye,
With a brush of her skin, they let the unspoken fly.

"Now we need a retreat," she sighed with a spark,
"Is it my place or yours?" they danced in the dark.
"Closer is better," she breathed, igniting his need,
But home felt too distant, temptation took the lead.

"Someplace much nearer," she gasped, eyes alight,
"Come with me," he commanded, as shadows took flight.
In a fervent embrace, under wide-open skies,
Two souls intertwined, as passion did rise.

Thus spun the tale of their heart’s secret game,
In laughter and longing, they stoked the same flame.
Through shadows and whispers, igniting delight,
They wove their story, surrendering to night.
