The Boy on the Bus
The moment you got on the bus
I remember my eyes automatically
Searching for yours
Yet I didn't let them linger
Scared that you would notice
Your ash blond hair changing shades
To bright glistening orange
Under the setting sun
Your blue gaze looking
Out to far away places
Lost in the moving landscapes
How I'd love to let myself rest against you
Tell you how beautiful you are
With the sun in your eyes
Washed in the warm colors
Of gold and orange.
I remember my eyes automatically
Searching for yours
Yet I didn't let them linger
Scared that you would notice
Your ash blond hair changing shades
To bright glistening orange
Under the setting sun
Your blue gaze looking
Out to far away places
Lost in the moving landscapes
How I'd love to let myself rest against you
Tell you how beautiful you are
With the sun in your eyes
Washed in the warm colors
Of gold and orange.
