Where Time Has No Place
The knock on the door
and the flowers that
touched my nose before
I saw you behind the
corner wall, waiting
for me to respond first.
You had all the words
entangled inside of you
written on paper,
reciting for me, for you
I meant the world,
I know your thirst
for love, for our love we
started ago, igniting again
now more than a spark and
all that it took was knowing
behind our greatest of monsters
lays what we want most.
