When I met ya I must admit
My first thoughts was a trip
You look so good I’ll-
WAIT
B.I.G. pause
Just because I ain’t about to say that shit
Now I ain’t going to front like you ain’t fine
But I just can’t go that far
Don’t get me wrong
Looking at you I get what he meant
Either way how about we sit
And you tell me what’s on your mind
Tell me what you find to be the problem
With the world and how we sometimes make it hard
On ourselves and can solve it.
See I’ve never been this close to a star
At least that’s the way you shine.
I bet you could make all the stars come together to make a chain
I bet you could twirl the world
On one finger and hang amongst celestial beings
With a smile that’s more beautiful than a million pearls.
Honestly it seems like a dream
That I never want to leave
And baby believe me I see
The beauty you possess
Nothing one could neglect.
Not sure what to expect
But I take my leap of faith
By starting with one little step.
