A Poem With No Name
I looked out across a busy city
A multifaceted congregation
Of concrete buildings and humanity
An urban center of man’s creation
Feeling something unnamed to pursue
I looked out across an arid desert
Wilderness canvassing my location
Life here is of a different effort
A rural land of nature’s creation
Seeking something unanswered to question
A vision unto a horse with no name
Namely, of blind faith in something unknown
A vision unto a place with no name
Namely, mirage of a woman unknown
Unnamed…is of beauty one might discover in the desert
A multifaceted congregation
Of concrete buildings and humanity
An urban center of man’s creation
Feeling something unnamed to pursue
I looked out across an arid desert
Wilderness canvassing my location
Life here is of a different effort
A rural land of nature’s creation
Seeking something unanswered to question
A vision unto a horse with no name
Namely, of blind faith in something unknown
A vision unto a place with no name
Namely, mirage of a woman unknown
Unnamed…is of beauty one might discover in the desert
