Writer’s Block

Writer’s block won’t let me through
However writers block out the noise
And just make do when it’s due
So I’m riding through the block
Just to catch a thought
That just might spark something new
Something that’ll make them say
“Damn that boy a fool”
Smooth, cool, and utterly true
The words from my pen are dipped in the pain
That I constantly try to avoid
Balancing all these issues I’m losing my poise
Fighting to give my best routine
But it seems, the judges won’t play it fair
So it’s gymnast the way I flip shit
Just to show I kick it
Like Bruce Leroy I got the glow
And when I say who’s the master you better sho’nuff let em know
I could probably show you some moves
I could probably let you win and still never lose
I’ll let you choose
