It is, it has been a hard year so far. My father passed away the end of January, and I am still wrapping my head around it.

Yes, I just read your 2am poem which reveals the sad background story behind your loss. It can be really quite cruel, especially when you had grounds for hope. 😑

It definitely can be cruel. We are coming up on the one year anniversary of his death, and it still doesn't feel real some days.
