Translucent

Translucent

Surely • she • perceives me blind
Or perhaps • the world at large?
Hellaciously •• might describe
At times • deserves • such charge

Time •  has bent • her search
Too long • turned • too vane
Wrapped around • her worth
Delivering • her pain

Oh • and • the rage
Unreasonable • and cruel
Followed by • the shame
Defeating • each • renewal

If only I could reach her
Find words • that explain
Being of • her mother
Inherent • is her pain

Her search • to find • relief
At times • feeling frantic
Bears consequence • unseen
Will find • her • abandoned

But oh • if she knew
How weak • the chains • she's forged
Because • they are • untrue
They • can be • reformed

That she • always • had it
She possesses • it right now
Her self • her open secret
Does not • need • to be found

But having • has no use
When gratitude • is not first
Condemning • is her curse
This • karma • is hers

And this • should prove • at last
How powerful • my girl
Within • your tiny hands
You • control • your world

What you need • Within you have
What hurts now • need not last
So let it come • then let it pass
A wasted life • lives in the past
