Summer Day

I walk outside, my hair in a mess. I stand for a moment, remember my address. My mind flashes back, to memories my best. To times when I got butterflies in my chest. The times when I thought I could hold you every day. But now that you've moved, I don't know what to say. I know  that I've got you, but I still don't feel right. I can never hold you, neither in day nor in night. I know you will read this, and you may begin to cry. But always know darling, my love is in the sky.
