MELTING..The Carnival..3/5

Two hours have passed if im not mistaken      
Since this trip of a lifetime started      
Hallucinations have completely overtaken      
And my common sense has departed      
The bright lights of the carnival      
Are streaking through my head      
Reflections of the smallest particles      
Refract through this maze I unthread      
Looking for a girl to party with      
As I try to keep my composure      
This story is real its not a myth      
Escaping from this enclosure      
The lights flashing everywhere      
And the people around me unaware      
The trail of echoes haunting stare      
Laughing at me in this melting air      
My minds experience is so intense      
This vibrant amazing sensory overload      
The secrets awaiting my next suspense      
I feel like I'm going to explode      
But I found my level of calming peace      
As I met this girl and started talking      
The effects though continued to increase      
Around the rides we started walking      
Then out of nowhere all of a sudden      
I was approached by six angry guys      
With my vision it felt like a dozen      
And I asked them the reason why      
They said I was in their territory      
As the girl quickly ran out of sight      
With strychine coursing through my body      
I was ready for this outnumbered fight      
All I saw were chattering teeth      
As I quickly prepared my fist      
They didn't know my rage beneath      
Or the hidden world where I exist      
But my brain suddenly kicked in      
And this truth I must admit      
It was a fight I could never win      
So somehow I talked my way out of it      
After experiencing this sudden rush      
I thought it was finally time to go      
My minds vaporizing and feeling crushed      
So I found Dave amongst all the glow      
The girl was lost but my party was on      
So we headed back to our house of fun      
This is where the story moves along      
And when the next chapter has begun
