Like The Blue Bird
My prayers echo through night,
With that sound that went
Through me as I opened my eyes,
The rusted old window broke,
And I could see through the smoke.
I'm being sick of the cage that
Surrounds me and prisons
Me tightly into the ground..
It chokes me and holds down so much it hurts..
What I see,
In this reality,
Makes me feel
So lonely..
I want to never awake
from my dreamy state,
And never go into this world that's
So cruel and cold..
Still I'll fight,
To reach the light,
And fall again for a new flight..
I'll break the cage and
And like the blue bird,
Spread my wings in to a flight,
And leave this world
Of cruelness and
Senseless hate.
With that sound that went
Through me as I opened my eyes,
The rusted old window broke,
And I could see through the smoke.
I'm being sick of the cage that
Surrounds me and prisons
Me tightly into the ground..
It chokes me and holds down so much it hurts..
What I see,
In this reality,
Makes me feel
So lonely..
I want to never awake
from my dreamy state,
And never go into this world that's
So cruel and cold..
Still I'll fight,
To reach the light,
And fall again for a new flight..
I'll break the cage and
And like the blue bird,
Spread my wings in to a flight,
And leave this world
Of cruelness and
Senseless hate.
