Your Kintsugi kisses
linger still, their legacy
binds this once fractured soul
and made life beautiful again,

For a time there was no shade,
just the warmth of love,
a promise of the future
until the shadows of deceit
fell upon your lips.

You may have left some
damage in your wake,
but I never thanked you
for the inspiration.
