Takes a lifetime to wear those scars with honor.
To forgive, is not always to forget.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the nurturing I needed and it left me with a skin hunger. I have forgiven them but doubt I will ever forget the trauma I had to endure. There are those who insist I close the door on the past which can not truly be done because of the scars. But I have turned the terror on it's head and pushed through it and thankfully good has come out of it. Your friend in-depth reviews are always welcome. You are almost always on target by easily interpreting the truth behind the poem.
