Spaceboy

Hey you, what are you looking for?
A star struck voyager on his way to Mars?
Hey you, what are you smiling for?
I thought we both were meant to sing the Blues.

And I’ve lost my mind again,
I must have flown far too close to the Sun,
But you were there by my side,
You took the wheels and flew me straight back home.

But Spaceboy you’ve got to go home,
Spaceboy, you’ve got to go on your own,
Spaceboy, you’ve got to go home ,
Time is running out.

I look back now now to the child I was,
Nothing seem to phase me in the world,
But today stands a different guy,
I wished those day’s would never end.

Hey you, why are you crying so?
Those were the best days of our lives,
Laughter in the face of everything,
Bring back the old Spaceboy.
