For the Love of Rye

The lady that ate too much rye,
oh my, oh my,  
how she did love her rye.
 
Zero grams of fat
and zero cholesterol too.
No butter just plain bread,
oh my, oh my,  
if she only knew.
 
She did so love her rye,
that's all she ever ate.  
Oh my, oh my, oh my,
it just might be too late!
 
But eating all that rye,
no vegetables and no fruits,
nothing else in her diet
just plain dark store-bought rye,  
oh why?
 
I guess it never crossed her mind,
that eating just one thing,
did her body no good
she up and died today.
