The house is full of laughter
Noises all around
Rush in rush out
Not enough time in the day
Honey do list, I'm on my way
The kids have grown
They are on their own
We are now on our own
Routine sets in
We enjoy our time
My soul mate has passed
I'm now all alone
Where has time gone
Once on top
With family all around

My home is quiet
Not a sound to be heard
My old bones hurt
Where has time gone
