I can not live without good music. All those long nights with my headphones on, lamenting a lover, praising a friend, recalling beauty. It is me.

Sweet sweet addiction that is not that sweet. I often strive for meanings in life. If that was the case for music unfortunately I would bleed a little but try to keep it at bay. I just can not think myself without music.

Thank you for the reply. I have always had a radio or music on when driving but as I now live in Australia and the car I have has no music in I I realise how much I miss music.
I have downloaded a lot of things from spotify and play them mostly when I an writing

I listen to music as soon as I get up and prepare for work, and then when I get out of work walking with the headphones, then at home whatever I am doing. I listen to a lot of music.

I have had driving as my passion for more than 50 years and since the advent of people being able to use earphones and iPods and other things to listen to music there have been more people involved in meeting cars and bodies ending on the floor.
Please remember to look before you cross a road as not being able to hear traffic means you need to concentrate with your eyes to stay safe.
Cyclists are the worst because they also have earbuds and are the silent killers with no sense of pedestrians

This speaks on many levels… the catchiness of a tune… the soundtrack of a life… an addiction… I reread it multiple times… new insights each time…
