Fire
Warmth
A soft haze
That glows inside my heart.
It is for you, mon amour.
The fires that burn bright
Deep inside me
Will never extinguish.
They grow stronger
With every moment
Every word
Every kiss
Every day.
A fire,
That with any other
Would frighten
And bring great danger,
Allows only its warmth
And joy, and love
To pass through its
Dancing flames.
Any other fire
Must be carefully tended to,
A slight wind could extinguish it,
The dark could compress around it.
But the fire of my love
Is stronger than that
If it were to lose control,
To burst through its binds
Holding it inside the safety of its circle of rocks,
No fear would pass through my mind.
No worry would torment me,
For if we lost our control, my love,
Such beauteous rapture would ensue,
The angels would sing for us
And Mother would cry for joy.
A soft haze
That glows inside my heart.
It is for you, mon amour.
The fires that burn bright
Deep inside me
Will never extinguish.
They grow stronger
With every moment
Every word
Every kiss
Every day.
A fire,
That with any other
Would frighten
And bring great danger,
Allows only its warmth
And joy, and love
To pass through its
Dancing flames.
