I died that already
Be a good student...
I died that already.
Be an athlete...
I died that already.
Be a tutor/professor/educator...
I died that already.
Be an operations manager...
I died that already.
When I chose there was nothing to be,
I achieved immortality.
I died that already.
Be an athlete...
I died that already.
Be a tutor/professor/educator...
I died that already.
Be an operations manager...
I died that already.
When I chose there was nothing to be,
I achieved immortality.

When I chose there was nothing to be,
I achieved immortality.
Those two illuminated lines I hear resonating on ether to give intellectual credence to the possibility of evolution and taking the belief of yourself and your purposes of being, even higher, my blue-eyed poet, I am feeling the vibe of this musing.
Have a wonderful evening and a great Wednesday.

Inspiration works through me. I am merely a conduit for ideas. Thank you reading, commenting, existing...

And you are positively, unequivocally, without a doubt, humbly welcome, my handsome blue-eyed poet.

To me, speaks to the duality of existence...
Also, the forces of the masses,
who's subscription to reality creates a current...
A current which creates pressure
to assimilate...
People fear aloneness...
Our societal facades make us feel less alone...
Until that darkness comes...
Where the darkness contains what cannot be contained...
I do think that transcended identity
may be used toward one's magical end, or magical intent...
In any event...
Thought provoking ink...

At least in America, we too strongly identify ourselves as what we do or what we like. It causes a lot of problems for workers who identify as their profession and stay stuck there because they cannot imagine themselves as anything else. I see it being imposed on my nephews and other young people, and I understand the mental challenges in trying to find out who we are when those concepts are impositions. We are humans...not lawyers or teachers or even poeta or artists.

I really appreciated the ironic play on that "I died on that hill" and "I did that already"
The most self-inflated shit, the stupid ass hills people die on, aren't worth the dust in the wind. You really made some great social commentary here.
I like the way you see the world, man. I like the bite in your eyes.

I am a very nice person in real life, but I often use poetry to try to be more direct. Thank you greatly for reading and commenting!

Yeah sometimes it is ok to be nothing as your last line sums it powerfully. You will never be nothing, no one's a nobody, everyone is a somebody. Kudos for the poem.
Plz also read and comment my newest poem too.

"When I chose there was nothing to be,
I achieved immortality."
> those are some epic lines!
Also: I love the repetition of "I died that already"
Great piece of ink and an amazing author's note, so true.
