Every Side of You

You see past darkened speech,

Therefore you know when I speak.

   Glistened eyes break when crying,

The shattering eyes are all you seek.

   Love is an uncontrollable ocean,

Yet You sip on the same water the drowns me.

   When receiving new roots,

You broke all the branches to my tree .

You don’t watch me as I sleep,

For eyelids are better closed eternally.

   You take my body’s veins,

And cut them evenly.

   You frost my window,

Yet melt my fingertips when we touch.

   The world is my canvas,

But you have taken my paint brush.

   Your words must be heavy,

Since I fall for whatever you say.

You are the supply to my oxygen,

Because when you arrived and left my breath was taken away.
