The Three Wise Men

Thus Herod spake to three wise men
‘’Seek, so that I, might also...find...
this ‘’king’’ soon born in Bethlehem’’
thus Herod spake to three wise men.

‘’We bring gifts for Him and Amen,
  this Savior of human-kind’’
thus Herod spake to Three Wise Men
 ‘’Seek... so...that I might, also, find…’’

They travelled on, followed a Star,
 bearing gifts from the Orient
 Melchior’s gold, Myrrh? Balthazar,
they travelled on, followed a Star

Gaspar’s Frankincense, all, came far
 Indus, Arab, Persian, all sent
they travelled on, followed a Star,
 bearing gifts from the Orient
                          *
In a Bethlehem stable stood,
 the Magi bearing Kingly gifts,
they themselves were of royal blood
 in a Bethlehem stable stood,

To bow to Jesus’s godhood
in a stable, manger for crib,
 in a Bethlehem stable stood
 the Magi bearing Kingly gifts.

And of Herod? He was made mad
because he murdered innocence,
fit fates for Leaders deeply bad
and of Herod he was made mad,

Whom God's destroy They first make Mad
and they, ashamed, make no defense,
whom god's destroy they first make mad
those who'd destroy our innocents...
