My guard is down took another one on the chin
Feel like I'm fighting a fight I can't win
Lord give me the power give me the strength
This keeps dragging out over such a long length
Gun to my head ide be tempted to pull the trigger
I got a hole in my soul and it keeps getting bigger
I'm in there somewhere can I be found
Can I fight back before I end up underground

I can really appreciate the hopeful and prayer like manner in this poem. This shows such an intense delicacy of human life and spirit. I especially appreciated the reach to a higher power. So many of us try to go it alone. Terrific writing. H🌷
