fiddlehead fern

i've been playing a lot of stardew valley recently
hours and hours
let's do that math.
one day takes about 30 minutes to play through
(you can only save as the day ends)
(you have to do the full day to save your progress)
(your progress will be lost if you  don't commit the full day*)

(*this is unlike harvest moon, the d.s. game.
in harvest moon, you can save in your diary virtually, no, actually, at any time.)
(it's an outdated game)
(where you can't be gay)
(without mods at least)
(but then again)
(you have to mod stardew valley if you don't want it to be a virtual)
(ethnostate)
(it's an outdated game)

So, 30 minutes in one day... 28 days in a season, 4 seasons in a year.
28 times 4 is... 86...96.....80 plus 16... yes, 96.
96 days in a year.
my perception of reality is warped around foragables-
spring onions and horse radish and things not native to the places i eat at
winter roots and spice fruit
spice fruit, actually, is native to me.
it's a persimmon. the type my grandmother bought.
did she buy them because she liked them, or because i bought them?*
*i do not know my grandmother very well.
not as well as i'd like to.
so, i played 30 * 98 minutes worth of stardew. divide that by 60 and you'll get my recent hours.
i promise you it is multiple days straight, at least.
that soundtrack is playing in my head as i write this.
why is it called a spice berry and not a persimmon?
spice berries are actually hated gifts
i love persimmons
you don't understand the significance, really
of persimmons and the ethnostate not appreciating them
and the ethnostate being my safe space
and the switch being basically unmoddable
and
i bought that switch from a bestie for $100

should i explain it?
  nah.
