Untimely in the coming
singing in the eternal dark yearning
sinister culted thoughts peak
then wane on a lunar afterthought

Bloodied moon with no taste for the tide
whether it rise and fall again
but still, it mesmerizes the waters
Sending vibrations, it pulls
slowly the waters come in and out

It makes no comment on the maddening way
tortured souls reeking havoc in the pale light
flicker a soul, then unfurl temptation
and for a moment the world turns crimson
Unhinged in the now
tomorrow the glow will have no affect

Tonight my family hunts
seeking those to devour
casting long shadows

I am lonely in the darkness
in the shaded glory of divinity unmasked
and feasting
