Think Twice
People appear bright until they start to speak
That’s because light travels faster than sound
It’s often thought the quiet ones who merely meek
But we’re the ones who mostly have both feet on the ground.
Think twice before you talk, before you act, before you judge
I won’t be the one dragging you through the mud
Some people learn fast; others learn the hard way
Don’t be surprised when you hear what I have to say.
Intelligent people are full of doubts; stupid ones are full of confidence
Their motto is to act first and ask questions later
People with no discipline don’t think about the consequence
They rub their noses into business as if they’re doing others a favor.
Think twice before you talk, before you act, before you judge
I won’t be the one dragging you through the mud
Some people learn fast; others learn the hard way
Don’t be surprised when you hear what I have to say.
