Down In The Jungle

Down in the deepest, darkest jungle.
Where the world's as good as old.
Some people seem to find the courage.
To do as they've been told.

Though as the nations crumble.
We'll always be the same.
We'll never be as humble.
As the crazed, mad and insane.

Down in the jungle.
No place for you and I.
Yeah, down in the jungle.
I'll stop to watch you cry as you watch me die.

Like faces of the dying people.
Repentance can't be called.
Like children dying in the jungle.
Oh, God would be appalled.

Down in the jungle.
No place for you and I.
Oh, down in the jungle.
I'll stop to watch you try.
So watch me while I fly.

The darkness is closing.
The shadows imposing.
My hope song is failing me now.

Look out to the blue sea.
A memory of me.
And how I planned to go down.

My life is mine.
So let me shine.
Light up my life.

Down in the dark.
You made your mark.
Burned on my heart.

Down... in... the... jungle.
Down in the jungle.
Down in the jungle.
I'm down here in the jungle!

Yeah, down in the jungle.
No place for you and I.
Oh, down in the jungle.
I'll laugh and pass you by.

Yes, down in the jungle.
From where the dealers sell.
Down in the jungle.
I'll help you to get well.
Or watch you go to hell.
