Duck Around And Find Out
Had a dream I was on my way home, as I turned the bend a boat of a car with two men in it blocked the road. They wouldn't let me by.
As I exited my vehicle, they offered up, hello ma'am! Would you like to buy a few ducks? To which I responded, I don't know. I wasn't interested in their ducks by no means, I was just needing time to think on how to get away from what I knew was about to happen.
Before I could offer up a response the one shaggy looking man grabbed me by my waist and pulled me close to him, in an extremely forceful manner. The other guy, which my mind told me they were brothers, grabbed him by the arm and said, not so rough, this wasn't what we agreed to.
But, my luck would have it he was half drunk and his brother used his elbow to sternly push him away from him and I.
At that moment my fight or flight kicked in and I lunged at the captors face, I grabbed anything my hands could hold onto, face, cheeks, hair, and I went full psycho, after all, it was him or I.
However good my initial attack was, it wasn't long before he had the upper hand, the inebriated brother still in the background of this chaos rambling in his drunken, slurred stooper, just let her go man...
At that moment I blacked out, I don't know what he did but the next thing I knew I was Rolled up in a mattress hurt and bleeding.
I realized quickly they thought I was dead, but I wasn't. As I manuevered my aching body and cut up arms to unroll me out of this heavy mattress, the next thing I know I'm sitting in a courtroom with my two assailants, as the judge asks me, ma'am, what would you have me to do?
I looked at the two brothers like they were my own and said I forgive them, let them go.
As soon as I mumbled those words we were all three sitting at a restaurant eating dinner together.
The oldest brother looks at me and asks me why and how I could forgive him, I started crying and simply said I don't know...I just do.
Dreams are so weird...
