Hell and you
The smoke
The agony
The heat
The thought crosses my mind everyday.
How bad could it be?
The light from far away looks enticing, almost inviting.
Every time I get close to the flame i can feel the warmth wrap around me.
It’s suffocating.
I can’t breathe.
Just one sin. That’s all it takes.
But just one taste leads to a watering mouth.
A full blown addiction.
Shivering from withdrawals, or fear, I’m not sure which.
In one blink of an eye I’m back to where I once was.
Encapsulated in the smoke
Lungs full of ash
And screaming from the feeling
