Image for the poem shadows

shadows

interesting little riddle
a quandary of sorts is life
hit and miss with humanity

oddity of fate flirting with haunts so familiar
yet so foreign
I am humbled in my skin

touch the night and become one with the shadows
wearing them like heavy clouds
so I become indistinct
and you can no longer recognize me from the others

hanging heavy with dew

storm warning, caution there may be tears
to match the desires that darken my soul
with the unobtainable bliss
